Supporting Supply Chain Planners During Technology Implementation
Typical technology training and adoption challenges planners struggle with:
Over the years we have supported many supply chain planning technology implementations. Our focus has always been on delivering client expectations in general, but also of planners specifically.

What our approach delivers:
We have found that planners essentially need the following 4 outcomes:
1️⃣Understanding
Planners are analytical and curious. For them to buy into any new technology it is important that they understand how the plan has been generated. They have to understand how changes in starting conditions, planning parameters and calculation engines influence plan outputs.
2️⃣Accuracy
A plan is of no use if it does not accurately reflect reality. The term optimization is sometimes overused here – a planner wants to start with accuracy and work from there.
3️⃣Stability
Big unpredictable swings in plan outputs are the enemy. It undermines a planner’s credibility and trust in the technology. Nobody likes inconsistency.
4️⃣Adherence
A plan remains just that if not executed. High adherence implies that the “end user” is happy that the provided plan is accurate, feasible and executable. It provides the needed positive feedback loop to the planner and re-enforces trust in the system and amongst supply chain participants.

What our clients are saying:
“MetaPerformance was appointed by Distell as a 3rd party services provider to assist with the implementation of a new supply chain master planning system, Blue Yonder, and to aid in the roll-out of the S&OP and IBP process.
The quality of work has exceeded our expectations with detailed knowledge of the S&OP process and exceptional skills in delivering training, DILO and process documents. Metaperformance has a strong drive to deliver deadlines and to manage customer expectations through clear and frequent communication.”
Lee-Anne Terblanche, Transformation Program Manager
“Coca-Cola HBC AG worked with Metaperformance during our Blue Yonder ESP, SEQ and D360 implementation, which stretched over 3 years with 26 countries. They were great supporting and building training materials which connected to our users using CCH language and adjusted to support our way of working.
This was a big part of our success as generic training materials can overwhelm users or been seen as too technical.
