Our Value Proposition

The MetaPerformance Business Analysis-as-a-Services (BAaaS) model is akin to the Software as a Service (SaaS) model for the following reasons:

  • Our clients can procure our services (highly skilled and experienced BAs) on a monthly pay-as-you-go model at an hourly rate or fixed cost.
  • Our BAaaS offerings can be terminated at any time (with a two week’s notice period).
  • Our services offer high vertical scalability, which gives you the option to access more, or fewer, services on-demand.
  • Our clients can rely on MetaPerformance to perform “skills updates” through our after-hours training, further reducing the cost burden. We continuously upskill our BAs with best practice techniques and know-how.

Our Approach

We follow either an Agile or Waterfall approach to defining requirements, depending on the need of our clients. In both approaches we follow a Customer-Centric Design towards developing Business Requirements.

We’ll identify your product requirements (desired functionalities), we’ll develop Business- and System Requirements Specifications, wireframes and UI mock-ups. Our outsourced Business Analyst will form part of your project team and help you to understand what you really need, ensuring that the project and development team are continually aligned.

Our Business Analysts will use several techniques that fit in with the Agile and SCRUM methodologies:

Frequently Asked Questions

Business analysis is the practice of identifying and defining business problems and developing solutions to address them. It involves analyzing an organization’s operations and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Business analysis as a service (BAaaS) is a service provided by consulting firms that offers businesses access to a team of business analysts who can help them improve their operations and processes. The team works on a project basis and provides analysis and recommendations to help businesses optimize their operations and achieve their strategic objectives.

BAaaS provides several advantages over hiring a full-time employee, including greater flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and access to a team of experts. With BAaaS, businesses can scale their use of business analysis services up or down as needed, without the fixed costs associated with hiring a full-time employee. Additionally, by working with a team of experts, businesses can access a broader range of skills and experience than they might find in a single full-time employee.

BAaaS is typically charged on a project basis, with fees based on the scope and duration of the project. Consulting firms may charge a flat fee or an hourly rate, depending on the specifics of the project and the needs of the client.

Agile and SCRUM are project management methodologies that prioritize collaboration, adaptability, and iterative development. These methodologies emphasize working in small, cross-functional teams, and using regular feedback to inform the development process. In the context of BAaaS, these methodologies can be used to help teams work more efficiently and effectively, and to ensure that the project stays on track and delivers the desired results.
